OPEN ACCESS AND COPYRIGHT POLICY

Open access

JTE: Journal of Thought and Education  is an open access journal, which means that all content is freely available without charge to users or institutions. Users do not need to register to access journal content. JTE provides immediate open access to its content, without any embargo period. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, reuse, or link to full-text articles without seeking prior permission from the publisher or author as long as appropriate citations from the original publication are provided. This is in line with the Budapest Open Access Initiative's definition of open access.

Copyright and License

JTE content is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. Authors retain copyright and unrestricted publishing rights to their articles. The author gives permission to Education and Publication Media to publish the article and identifies himself as the original publisher. The author also grants any third party the right to use or reuse the article freely as long as the original author and citation details can be identified.

Self Archiving

JTE allows and encourages authors to self-archive their articles on institutional or other specialized repositories, personal websites and social networking sites such as ResearchGate and Academia.edu. Authors are advised to use the final PDF version published on the Journal website for self-archiving purposes. However, this is not mandatory and authors are free to use the version they prefer; pre-print, post-print, or publisher PDF versions.

There is no embargo on self-archiving of articles. Authors are allowed to store articles in repositories, personal sites and social networking sites immediately after they are published on the journal website. Accepted manuscripts can also be archived by the author himself.
